In 2023, we launched the Paragon Women’s Network at a special event in Nottingham. The event brought together over 150 women from across all of Paragon’s business lines and from every level of the company.  

The aim of this network is primarily to improve gender equality and drive education and change. It will also exist to provide a safe space to talk openly with other women about challenges – ones that they may have gone through themselves. We hope to encourage and celebrate the value and impact that women deliver in the workplace and to provide opportunities to nurture, mentor, develop and grow.

We created the network because we want to drive change, by: 
 

  • Being the employer of choice by creating, promoting, and supporting diversity and inclusion, so we can deliver talent and staff retention. 
     
  • Providing a framework to ensure the best people are in the best role. 
     
  • Creating mutual opportunities and collaboration with our clients 
     
  • Securing the future generation of women across all disciplines and levels 
     
  • Becoming a more diverse workforce, including more women in leadership roles, because that creates more innovation and better financial performance
