Power of mail

Last month, we were delighted to jointly organise a brilliant event with our partner, postal and logistics specialist, Whistl. Together, we brought together figures from across the industry and our client base, including Sainsbury’s, Aviva, Cancer Research UK, EE, Bupa, and Vodafone, to highlight the unique power of mail.

The aim of the event was to show some of our key clients how this traditional form of communication is still a powerful tool for businesses and people alike. The day began with a welcome from Andy Goddard, Managing Director of Mail at Whistl, who was followed by his colleague Mark Davies, Whistl’s Managing Director of Doordrop Mail, to discuss the ‘cookieless future’ of the web and its impact on user experience.

We heard from our own Paragon specialists too, including our Head of ESG, Lucy Klinkenberg-Matthews, Paragon Dagenham Site Director, Gemma Mitchell, and CEO Jeremy Walters. The agenda also featured presentations and panel discussions from industry experts at JICMAIL, Two Sides, and Marketreach.

The event provided an opportunity to network with industry professionals, learn about innovative strategies for utilising mail, and gain insights into the latest trends in direct mail marketing.

Today’s customer wants choice, most importantly on their own terms, and mail has now become the channel of choice for brands to cut though the digital fatigue of today’s heavily online landscape. Mail can provide greater impact than more ephemeral digital communications, stays in the home and in people’s minds for longer, and paper is a truly sustainable medium.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the event and helped to make it such a success.
